This site is dedicated to my fellow gearheads, both  my drag racing ancestors from the 50's and 60's as well as my  current brethren, who place the pursuit of horsepower, scientific advancement and a low E.T. on an intellectual and visceral basis equivalent with basic human survival. If you like pure American muscle cars that spew toxins into the environment leaving a huge carbon footprint, that cause animals to scatter with noise and fury, that either ruin or disrupt interpersonal relationships with family members and loved ones and which can only travel about 500' on the street without inviting a police investigation, then welcome home brothers and leave the door open for others to follow.

Unofficially named "Judgment Day" or "DRAGnet" because of its resemblance to the car used by Jack Webb on his 60's television show, the car is a 67 Ford Fairlane originally purchased from legendary Ford dealership Russ Davis Ford in Covina, California home to many Ford factory race cars and drivers including the one and only Gas Ronda, and has only 73,000 original miles. The original 2 bbl 289 has long since been replaced but the body has never been in a major accident.

The car is equipped as follows:

ENGINE:
Ford SVO 9.500" tall deck Windsor block bored to 4.1250 with a Velasco 4.00 stroke crankshaft which displaces 427 c.i. Ross 15:1 pistons and Carrillo connecting rods with a Romac balancer round out the bottom end. Cylinder heads are Edelbrock Victor with an 18 degree valve angle and titanium 2.18 intake and 1.6 valves that were custom CNC ported by Total Engine Airflow in Tallmadge, Ohio. A Glidden Victor and 1050 Dominator prepped by The Carb Shop in Ontario, California sit atop the motor. A custom Bullet solid roller camshaft with .800 lift, Crower lifters and T&D rocker arms make up the valve train along with a double roller timing chain. Crank trigger ignition and an MSD 7AL box fire the 116 octane fuel. Engine dyoed at over 800 h.p. and Ernie set his shift light at 8000 rpm.
